Taking the first step towards therapy is a meaningful and courageous decision. At New Insights, we strive to make your initial experience as smooth and supportive as possible. Whether you are new to therapy or returning after a break, our goal is to help you feel comfortable and prepared for the journey ahead.
Before Your Appointment:
Scheduling:
When you reach out to schedule your first appointment, we’ll gather some basic information to understand your needs and preferences. This helps us match you with the therapist who is best suited to address your concerns and goals.
Insurance and Payment:
We accept a range of insurance providers to make therapy more accessible. Some of the insurance plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and HMO, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare. If your insurance is not listed or you have any questions about coverage, please contact our office, and our team will be happy to assist you in verifying your benefits and understanding any out-of-pocket costs. Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid plans.
Intake Forms:
Prior to your appointment, we will ask you to electronically complete some intake forms. These forms will collect essential information about your background, current concerns, and relevant medical history. Completing these forms in advance allows us to use your appointment time effectively.
Preparing for Your Session:
Consider reflecting on what you hope to achieve in therapy. Identifying any specific issues or goals can help guide the initial conversation and ensure that your needs are addressed from the start.
All of our new patients receive a free telephone consultation to explore your presenting concerns and answer any questions you may have about our services.
Please contact us at 773.501.4288, or leave a message for us. We look forward to connecting with you soon!
