Hello, my name is Aleksandra (she/her). First, I'd like to express my appreciation for your visit to our page and your commitment to enhancing your mental well-being. No matter where you are on your journey, I am dedicated to creating a secure and nonjudgmental space for you to reflect and address any challenges you may encounter. Life presents many hurdles, and I am devoted to aiding individuals in navigating these tough periods.
Adopting a person-centered, multicultural, and Adlerian approach, I am committed to offering unwavering support to my clients as they face life's challenges. My approach is holistic and adaptable, designed to customize my therapeutic style to meet the distinct needs of each client. By working collaboratively, we discover the most suitable methods for them, fostering an atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to share openly and without fear of judgment.
As a Chicago local, I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in downtown Chicago. Before that, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology, with a minor in Race, Ethnicity, and Immigration at Butler University in Indianapolis. My experience spans various mental health environments, mainly in community behavioral health, serving a wide array of clients. My areas of focus include adolescent and transitional age issues, youth in the juvenile justice system, LGBTQ+ communities, and identity challenges.
Outside of work, I find joy in fostering animals, caring for my plants, and championing causes I hold dear.
